It’s 2022. Donald Trump has not been our president for 20 months when in January 2021, Joseph R. Biden was sworn in as our 46th president of the United States of America. We have seen two springs since then and we have also seen the life-saving rollout of Covid-19 vaccines. In the scheme of things, 20 months is not much time at all. However, it is enough time for a newborn baby to grow into a toddler. A woman could be pregnant twice during 20 months. Depending on your perspective, 20 months can either fly by or drag endlessly.

During that time, we have seen testimony from former Trump staff members about the events leading up to and on January 6, 2021. We have also recently learned about classified documents illegally stored at Trump’s home in Mar-A-Lago. It is a fact that his actions have resulted in his recent legal troubles. He is on his way to becoming a disgraced former president. In the eyes of many, he has been disgraced for a very long time and finally the powers that be are at the very least, beginning to hold him accountable for making this country a laughingstock and contributing to the divide of its people in a way that might never be repaired in my lifetime.
